Our guest today is Kevin Yurkus. Kevin is the head coach of the Saigon Heat a team represented in both the VBA (Vietnam Basketball Association) and the ABL. For this episode we discuss a variety of different topics about the world of international basketball, specifically in Southeast Asia. We basketball in Vietnam for imports, the rise of different southeast Asian basketball leagues, the current structure of the ABL (formerly the ASEAN Basketball League), why the structure of the ABL may have caused the league to be affected by COVID-19 more than other leagues, and a whole lot more.
