BASEBALL FINALLY! This week we will be discussing the opportunities to play baseball in a few countries outside of the United States. Specifically, our guest will be telling his story of playing in Japan and Taiwan. Most of you baseball fans out there know about Japanese baseball, I would guess. But I wonder how many of you know about Taiwanese baseball. Furthermore, I wonder just how many of you know what it is actually like to play over in these other leagues. Well, this week we will attempt to clear that up for you. Our guest, Carlos Mirabal, spent several years overseas and does a great job illustrating the journey of a baseball player as they bounce from league to league and level to level. There are ups and downs and promising opportunities and tough times. It is a journey with which any true baseball fan should be familiar. In addition, if you are a baseball player and you are unaware of the opportunities over seas and what it is like to play outside of the US (specifically, in Japan and Taiwan) this episode is for you. Thank you to our guest this week, Carlos Mirabal of the [Hokkaido] Nippon-Ham Fighters in Japan (among other teams) for his time, stories and practical advice. In addition, thank you to all you listeners out there, it is because of you that the team at Globally Ballin and I are able to continue this! Please enjoy this weeks episode, thank you.
