[These conversations are based largely on The Endurance Factor Book, co-authored by Greg and Chip]
Making changes is essentially what Chip Judd says is God's purpose for every person alive; and often times, when desperate change is in order, a person has to do deep work to avoid paying a heavier price later. A common barrier to this, is that it's often easier for one to stay in negative thought patterns and hold onto unhealthy beliefs, than it is for him or her to change them.
In this episode, the two discuss what is an integral and necessary groundwork to increase long-term change toward "living well and finishing strong," which is recognizing and living out the ramifications of what every person can identify as their identity, calling, and assignment.
Pastor Greg discusses the significant personal changes in his assignments, including transitioning Seacoast Church to his son, Josh Surratt. The two, alongside host Joey Svendsen also manage to work in some dialogue about great adventures that are potentially a part of the afterlife, 1990s NFL, and how Greg still prefers Charleston over his former places of residence, despite the heat, bugs and hurricanes.
