Too many coaches are in a fight-or-flight, freeze-or-appease sales system and don’t even know it.

Fight or flight is about self-preservation. When you are a coach, you seek to provide solutions to others. Those two things are incongruent. So, in a sales system predicated on fight or flight, it is impossible to tap into your clients' needs and desires.

In today’s episode, I explain how to break from a fight-or-flight sales system by focusing on the primary emotion you feel while selling.

A successful business is not run on negative emotions. Learning to lead with positive emotion and put negativity in the backseat will allow you to help clients from a place of love and service.

Selling doesn’t have to feel icky or gross. The only way to break out of a fight or flight sales system is to replace it with another one. The first step is awareness.
