John 11:25-26 Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying. Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die. Do you believe this, Martha?”
Do I believe this? Do you believe this? That Jesus Christ is the resurrection and the life? These are some hard questions to answer if you are new to Christianity, but nevertheless, they must be answered. Because if Jesus is who we said he was, which I believe He is, rejecting him will have eternal consequences. And the severity of being separated from the presence of God for eternity can be difficult to wrap our heads around it.
But I want you to consider the following. In the United States when you drive a vehicle it is the responsible thing to have car insurance. So that you can be financially protected in the event of an accident. Even though you have no idea what an accident will look or feel like, you pay in order to have the protection. And you do this for a vehicle, how much more valuable is your soul. Jesus is the ultimate insurance policy for our souls. Do you believe this?
