In episode 698: East Tennessee Bigfoot, Harley Owens, a Bigfoot field researcher out of east Tennessee, recounts a series of unsettling encounters that slowly shattered his skepticism. Strange growls in the night, fleeting glimpses of large figures in the distance, these were experiences he could explain away. However, everything changed on a fateful day when he came face to face with something he couldn’t ignore. As a massive, conical-headed figure watched him from a cliff, his phone mysteriously died, cutting off his chance to capture the moment with more than a picture. In that instant, the legend of Bigfoot became terrifyingly real, keeping him from even stepping foot in the woods for three years only recently entering the woods again. Since Harley began doing field research, he has had more encounters, some of which will put a chill down your spine.
