This week David and Dara are locked in with 2008 Irish open champion and now podcaster Neil Channing whose new show ‘Bet The House’ launched less than a fortnight ago. They talk to Neil about the overlap between politics and betting, get some tips on the upcoming UK and US elections and speak about podcasts more generally.

Before that, Dara and David cast their eyes over some recent stories, including Antonio Galiana’s crazy week as he bluffs his way to a WSOP bracelet before getting embroiled in a cheating scandal. There is also some discussion on the idea of a poker black list after poker cheater Ali Imsirovic appears in Vegas and in the wake of Men ‘The Master’ Nguyen seemingly pulling back chips in a big 3-way pot deep in a bracelet event.

Dara and David point to Daniel Hachem’s runner-up finish at the WSOP and talk about the idea of poker being passed on within families. Finally, there are some shout-outs for Irishman Michael Dwyer’s recent $1.3M win and the upcoming EDGE poker expo in Dublin!
