And patience is key To receive The plans beyond today Bridge 1 ‘Cause just like Job I’m mad That life hasn’t turned out The way that I planned And just like Job I have Questions without answers That I understand Bridge 2 Did you really think that I forgot about you? Did you believe the lie that I never knew If I gave you, a perfect life You still wouldn’t be satisfied So take a lesson from my servant Job My love for you is greater than you know And when you see my wisdom You’ll thank and praise me for what I have done Cause first I had to humble your pride Before you could enjoy this life And stand in awe of only me Just like you will for all eternity Verse 3 To the God of Job All I can say is thank you For all that you do And for humbling me again To the God of Job Thank you for the pain That you turned into gain And the good you caused in the end
