The Letter/Epistle of Jeremiah (sometimes chapter 6 of 1 Baruch) is an exilic apocryphon (that's actually a pseudepigraphon). It's a polemic against idolatry and the need for Jews in the diaspora to not turn to the idols of the other nations despite temptation. In this episode, we overview the Epistle of Jeremiah and its connections to the canonical Hebrew Scriptures.
