April struggled as a young journalist tasked with reporting "the bad news" daily. While busy chasing Fire trucks and Police cars for stories, she longed for human-interest stories that she was much more interested in telling.
Realizing her career path as a broadcast journalist was only going to lead her down a path of depression; she made a pivotal career change.
April decided her work would have meaning! And by that, she was going to focus on people's stories.
