About Dr Catrona Wallace
Catriona Wallace is the Executive Chair of Boab AI - Artesian's AI Accelerator. Catriona has been recognised by the Australian Financial Review as the Most Influential Woman in Business & Entrepreneurship.
She is based between Australia and the US, she is also the Founder & CEO of Ethical AI Advisory, the Founder of Artificial Intelligence ASX Listed company Flamingo AI, which exited to BDMN Investments in 2020. Flamingo AI was the second only woman led (CEO & Chair) business ever to list on the Australian Stock Exchange.
Having recently been inducted into the Royal Institution in 2019, recognising her excellence in scientific achievement and commitment to science, Catriona is one of the world’s most cited experts and speakers on Artificial Intelligence, Responsible Technology, Ethics & Human Rights and Women in Leadership. She is also a philanthropist, human rights activist and mother of five.
She has achieved significant awards in technology & innovation including Advance Australia’s highest award for Australians working abroad. In large part, this success comes directly as a result of her deep experience in data and technology as well as the human side of transformation. In this interview, we talked about everything you need to know about Artificial Intelligence.
