Did you know that folk music and esoterica are inextricably linked? Because both are mediums of the people, used for expression, community, education and cultural story telling. Through the Middle Ages the witch trials destroyed this cultural connection for many.
We have a rich culture of folk music in our United Kingdom’s, but each countries experience is a different, and that echoes down to our experience of folk music now.
Essa also shares with us her depth of exploration of music, her lifestyle, identity and standing up for herself to live in the way that she wants. We have nuff respect for this woman 🥰
