About Moxy Anne
Moxy Anne is a 25-year-old musician from Southern California who sings her heart out with passion, energy, and excellence. Born in Newport Beach, CA, Moxy was a member of several local children’s singing groups and performed and recorded behind talent like Jackie Evancho, Aerosmith, Josh Groban, and Meryl Streep. Venues like the Microsoft Theater, Carnegie Hall, the LA Forum, Disneyland, the Walt Disney Concert Hall, and the House of Blues have all allowed Moxy to use her voice differently. She trained with renowned artist Gina Saputo, and began to venture into the musical world.
As her experiences cultivated passion, she started her own band, Moxy and The Influence. MXI garnered thousands of international fans, released EPs Alive and The Best Revenge, as well as 3 music videos, and toured internationally. During college she studied privately with Sara Leib, Teryn Ré, and Bill Cantos. She was a member of the world-renowned APU Chamber Singers, touring China/Hong Kong.
In early 2019, she completed her Bachelor of Music in Commercial Music at Azusa Pacific University and graduated with honors. Moxy is now a member of the choral group, The Sterling Ensemble, and took part in a choral tour of Italy in early 2020.
Singing regularly in a multitude of styles (rock, jazz, pop, R&B, electronic, country, reggae, folk, classical, choral, acoustic and acapella music), she enjoys any experience where she can collaborate with talented musicians and reach others with the power and influence of music. She works frequently with groups and artists like Sydney Ellen, Vinnie Corbo, and Moses Sun at music venues, churches, and public/private events throughout California. She is also a lead vocalist for professional corporate cover bands Pop Gun Rerun (80’s rock) and Boogie Agenda. (Top 40s.)
