Today we are talking to Briana Morales, 2024 Illinois State Teacher of the Year and high school English teacher at Gordon Bush Alternative Center in East St. Louis. Throughout her career, she has empowered her students through storytelling. Plus she shares writing activities to engage students in identity work and how to start a classroom dignity closet to help students in need.
