Episode 131: Artist Names In Songs And So Much More February 23, 2024 Ok, so it’s only two songs with artists name in them, really just one because the other doesn’t really zero in. After you listen to this one, you’ll know what I mean. But Creeque Alley does go through quite a few artists like all The Mamas and Papas, The Spoonful and iterations of them. I did also play one from Quarterflash and 1982 because it’s a cool tune. Like I need an excuse. Sade is a 2024 RnRHall of Fame nominee and picking a really good one from her is so easy. I saw her live around 2005 and she is captivating live. The helicopter SFX in the concert were so real, everyone was checking out the skies. The JimJam is fun. Are you a willing participant? We’ll do Gordo Lightfoot’s Early Morning Rain soon. I’m heading back to Nashville in a week, after a long and wonderful month in the tropics of south Florida. Been nice and it’ll be nicer getting back home and in the home studio and RadioFreeNashville’s studio for some absolutely live(ly) shows. Wanted to be sure to thank you who are financially supporting this podcast. I feel it’s very important to keep this music and the history of the 60s & 70s especially in the forefront. It takes time and money to buy the LPs, software and podcast service to get these shows to you. If you want more info, click this: patron.podbean.com/talesvinyltellssupport. You who donate monthly are just the best. You’ve done a good thing for me. Thank you! You can hear Tales Vinyl Tells on the internet stream as it happens on RadioFreeNashville at 5 central Wednesday here and here. Also, most podcast apps get the feed by Sunday, usually by Friday. And, you could tune in at 1am Wednesday morning (yawn) to KEUL, Girdwood, Alaska to hear the replay. It actually plays Tuesday night 10pm there, but time…..Just saying there are many ways to get your fill. That’s a lot. Thanks for listening.
