Linden Joesting and Bo Mahoe join us this week to tell us about the legacy of the Nisei Veterans, whose valor during World War II influenced Hawaii and continues to inspire today. Bo, a Vietnam veteran, shares his personal journey from draftee to dedicated advocate for veterans' rights across Hawaii. Linden became an attorney in private practice and then served with the United States Coast Guard for six years. She has focused her legal practice on advocating for veterans.

We take a look at the intricate world of veterans' benefits law, highlighting the challenges of navigating a system burdened with backlogs and appeals.
