Recognized as one of SF Business Times’ “40 Under 40” and praised by Black Enterprise as a “multifaceted creative,” Carol has redefined digital advertising strategies for leading clients such as General Motors, Chevrolet, the US Census, Disney, and Kaiser Permanente.
Among her most impactful initiatives is the creation of the Chevrolet Discover the Unexpected Fellowship, which has provided over $600,000 in scholarships to HBCU students pursuing careers in journalism, content creation, and marketing. Her portfolio also boasts award-winning campaigns like the US Census “Shape Your Future” campaign, Kaiser Permanente’s “Love Protects Us” campaign, and the US Army’s Officer Training Program. These campaigns have earned her prestigious accolades, including the Web Excellence Awards, Ragan Social Media Awards, and the Marcom Gold Award.
Carol is also involved in the inaugural @comptonfest! This will be a festive celebration of Compton’s rich cultural contributions to the Culture, as well as a push to young Black and brown professionals to invest in a city that has long invested in them.
Beyond her professional achievements, Carol is deeply committed to community service. She serves on the boards of AAF National and AAF Bay Area and actively volunteers in initiatives aimed at elevating underrepresented Black and brown talent within her industry.
