In today’s podcast we discuss Japanese JDM ”Kei” Cars and how the same cars and trucks are so differently viewed in Japan vs America... We then discuss our love for trucks and how different, yet similar trucks in Japan and America really are. We then discuss how I learned Japanese and what some of my tips are for you to learn too!! Finally, in today’s surprise Japanese snack segment we introduce you to KAKI-PEE and Japanese beer too!! Fun stuff today and always- Please subscribe and check out our first 2 episodes as well for the most unique take on all things Japan and America!
Welcome to Steve’s POV (Point of View)!
My name is Steve (51 years old); I am a YouTuber and Realtor and I reside near Dallas Texas.
I love America! I love Japan! I love cars! I love different cultures! I love food! I also love to have a good time, talk honestly and laugh! I speak, read and write fluent Japanese and have a long career working, traveling and living in and out of Japan and a very unique look at both American and Japanese culture.
My Youtube channel is called ”Steve’s POV” with over 452,000 subscribers and more than 135 million total views. I do most of my videos in Japanese (with english subtitles) but on this podcast it will be all English, all the time!
Along with my co-host Kim Wong, we plan to bring you lots of interesting guests with stories of success (and failure) to share in an open discussion, honest format. We will discuss cars, culture and cuisine all while having fun and sharing real life experiences. Finally, every episode will feature a ”surprise” Japanese food product that we all will sample and discuss!
I have had so many unique life experiences in and out of Japan I look forward to sharing with you
In our first episode Kim and I introduce ourselves to you... why we have decided to start this podcast and what we plan to discuss going forward.
