The birthplace of hip hop, The Bronx has been and still is a world renowned hub for creativity and collaboration, despite chronic underfunding.
Stance views the Yayoi Kusama exhibition, Cosmic Nature at the New York Botanical Garden - the largest botanical garden in a US city.
We tour The Bronx and chat with mixed media performance artist Tasha Dougé on creating work as an act of resistance, and rewriting existing narratives.
