Spokane Real Estate Market Update - Summer 2014

• In these three markets we have a shortage of inventory. This means that we have more buyers right now than we have homes to sell.
• This also puts us in a seller's market. This means that home sellers are at an advantage because their properties are in high demand and they can ask a higher price for their home.
• There has also been a 10% appreciation in home prices, and this is very common with a low inventory. When demand for homes is greater and inventory is low, prices inevitably go up.
