Putnam’s groundbreaking research, famously captured in “Bowling Alone,” may provide answers to the challenges facing democracy today.
“Join or Die” will be featured at the Port Jefferson Documentary Film Series on Thursday, September 26th.
Pete Davis, a writer and civic advocate, is also a former student of Putnam’s. He is the author of “Dedicated: The Case for Commitment in an Age of Infinite Browsing” and co-founder of the Democracy Policy Network, which promotes policies to strengthen democracy.
