When Sherri lost her son to a terrorist attack 20 years ago, her world was dark and grim. Today she shows us how her grieving went from “a dark cave to a birds nest”, as she puts it. You will learn a little about what that means in this episode. While speaking about Koby was an opportunity to share his story, it was actually writing that helped her cope with loss. Sherri’s first book “The Blessing of a Broken Heart” taught her the power of narrative and how it forces us to find meaning in our lives.
