Born and raised in a Chassidish Ultra Orthodox community, Leah talks to me about how she didn’t leave the community, but how the community left her... Today, she is a successful comedian whose trademark sound “Chellow chellow “ has been reverberating all over social media. Leah is a mother, wife, and a Jew. In this interview, she talks about how putting people in labels is so “FEH”. (you’ll find out what that means in this episode 😉) Leah is not just a comedian but she also runs a successful home care business and has been a college and high school educator. We learn from Leah that our political affiliation, sexual orientation, or any other particularities of our identity should not take center stage.
