In this episode, I want you to come on a journey with me to figure out if it is possible to find peace in the middle of all the f-ing shit happening around us right now. Is it possible to feel what needs feeling so that we can move through those difficult emotions and not take the rage and anger out on those we love or innocent bystanders? I'm not sure but just thinking of the possibilities in today's podcast helped me not feel quite so controlled by what's happening and let peace and not peace move through me. Peace isn't the absence of strife, conflict, protesting, or advocating, peace is in the middle in the midst of it. And one way to advocate for our own peace is by feeling our feelings appropriately not bottling them up, and finding opportunities during our day--with safe people or on our own to feel what needs feeling. This doesn't have to be naval gazing for any and every feeling but just checking in with ourselves to see where we are at with what's happening at different times during the day or at the very least when we go to bed at night taking stock of how we felt during the day. Remembering we aren't alone in these experiences we are together! We aren't a few voices shouting into a void we are many! And it's not over yet.

Please take care of yourself. And remember today May 5th is Missing & Murdered Indigenous Relatives Day of Remembrance and I will be making a donation to the Urban Indian Health Institute I hope you will give to an organization of your choosing that is happening to find missing and indigenous people.

I am currently accepting new clients you can book an appointment, archery workshop, or rage walk here at angiefadel.com Also, if you just want to reach out and ask a question go to angiefadel@gmail.com. Music by Todd Fadel
