Synopsis:

And angry that her best friend, Elizabeth Harrington, the Countess of Ashford, is with child and turning to the very doctor she blames for the loss of her mother.
Dr. Nicholas Wright is haunted. Haunted by the crushing weight of anxiety. Haunted by his past mistakes, and losses. And haunted by the memories of one night fueled by unbridled passion.
