Frank Jr., wrote to the FBI from prison and volunteered to wear a wire on his father and uncle, which led the investigation charge to the Family Secrets trial. Operation Family Secrets was a milestone in the FBI's battle against organized crime in Chicago. It is said to have had a significant effect on the operations of the Chicago Outfit.
