Episode #7: The True Crime One
Manage episode 290484594 series 2914546
We continue the spooky theme with this week's title, The Frozen Ground, staring Nicolas Cage (of course), John Cusack, Vanessa Hudgens, 50 Cent (with a mullet), and Hank from Breaking Bad. A little too spooky, considering this is based on a true story. True crime time! This was another tough one to watch without AD (audio description) but was offered on Amazon Prime through subscription. This episode features our first trigger/content warning as the film does include instances of sexual assault.
Jordan shares with us that time he lived in Alaska (where our film takes place) and we learn that just because you own your own airplane, does not make you a better serial killer. An honorable mention in this episode goes out to World Trade Center. In honor of 9/11 we wanted to watch the film and chat about it, however we felt our content is a little too flippant for this type of film.

- Jordan discusses the audio adventure we are undertaking by watching from the beginning. Though he loves to trash it, he's sort of digging it already, two episodes in.

This show is not written but definitely produced by Ashley, Jordan, and Tony. With love from the pugs and Frisco. And maybe a cat or two.
