In today's episode, I had the pleasure of speaking with Wendy Charles-Warner, a renowned independent academic researcher and educator specialising in home education. As we navigate the complex reasons behind the surge in homeschooling, Wendy will shed light on why an increasing number of parents are stepping away from conventional schooling, especially those with children who have special needs.

We'll also delve into the socio-economic realities of homeschooling, touching on how finances impact families' access to educational resources. Wendy and I will explore concerning trends, such as the resistance to educational reform and the pressure on children to perform academically at an ever-younger age, contrasting UK policies with other European countries.

Whether you're a parent considering homeschooling or just curious about the shifting landscape of education, tune in as Wendy Charles-Warner brings her expertise to the table in this thought-provoking episode.
