This episode is sponsored by The Plumbing Outlet and Coal Region Winery. Chad Lauer and Chad Evans sit down with local entrepreneur and owner of Brewski's and Mayor of the town of Bloomsburg, PA Justin Hummel. Justin discusses how his passion for town led him on an inspiring entrepreneurial journey that eventually led him to run for office. Justin was the owner and operator of Hotel Magee and Harry's Grill, leased his building to The Hardware Bar, owner of The Study, started Pierogi by Kim with his wife, and is the owner operator of Brewski's in town. He is a former Bloomsburg School Board President, Rotary Club President, Town Councilman, Library Board Member, and town pool board member. He emphasizes small businesses as the backbone of our small towns and our nation. He discusses how he and the town of Bloomsburg have been creative over the years. He believes strongly that we need to be Yes towns instead of No towns to continue to have improvements and recruit businesses that can thrive. Justin also discusses in detail how he believes that even though we can't all agree on everything we can have a positive impact on our community. Our leadership topic of the podcast is allowing folks to thrive in their role by empowering them to do their job without micromanaging. If Justin can do all of this as one person we can certainly get involved! Please join us for another episode focused on positivity and entrepreneurship.
