And why do people always forget that these marketing efforts actually have the end goal of making sales?

Rachel says the answer is simple: we need to stop thinking about “making a big splash” and settling for gimmicks + entertainment. Authenticity, consistency, and depth in relation to your key audience are actually what drives impact (re: sales, to Devin’s point).
