In this episode, Erin Olson discusses how guarding your motives and heart reduces the risk of messing it all up in ministry. Erin finishes up the book of 1 Timothy. In Chapter 6, Paul continues to his instruction for Timothy, including how important it is for Timothy to guard his motives and to remember the importance of the Gospel. This chapter was an encouragement to Timothy, but it is also useful information for us today because we face the same obstacles, false teaching, and heart issues the people in Ephesus faced.
