At what point in our lives do we stop feeling our feelings and start to suppress them? Children innately feel EVERYTHING, but somewhere along the way, as adults, we lose that. Today I sit down with my dear friend, Rick Hughs. Alaskan-raised, recovering jack-of-all-trades, with a passion for entrepreneurship, craftsmanship, and good coffee, Rick is opening up about his journey to feel his feelings, his thoughts on failure, and how he is learning to navigate healthy relationships. Grab a coffee (or a whisky) and join us!

We’re Exploring:

  • How leaving a career snowballed a world of changes for Rick
  • Balancing the big ups and big downs - finding balance in feeling
  • What we learn from facing failure and how we accept that failure will happen
  • The practice of sitting with our emotions and recognizing them for what they are
  • Building deeper and more intentional relationships
  • Why society’s expectations of men’s feelings need to change
  • Rick’s advice to someone who is avoiding feeling out of fear
  • Facing your own turmoil before you try to lead others through theirs
  • And so much more!!
