Background
Richard studied history and moved to International Development for his postgraduate studies. He was interested in the topic of developing economies. He started a part-time advertising business and worked as a contractor.
Richard has gained experience across Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), Construction Engineering, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Large-Scale Multi-Industry Global Outsourcers, Utilities, Tech & Software, Health & Wellbeing, Waste Management, Consulting, Not-for-Profit, Recruitment, Government.
PMO business integration and challenges
The biggest challenge from a leadership perspective is integrating change within the management structure as fast as possible, which is not an easy task. Fractional talent is essential in this scenario. One must understand that not everyone has an organisation of people. It would be best to if you use a human cloud to leverage experience, accelerate and integrate these two. Richard suggests that the art of leadership is bringing necessary change in yourself in order to achieve great success in managing an organisation through change. You need to know the framework and be honest about it.
Fractional talent
Bringing in fractional talent depends not only on the majority of the business but the size of the business.
Having people on board in the current and permanent framework is essential. You need to search very carefully for the right people. With the human cloud, you can leverage people very quickly.
As a consultant, helping a C-suite or key leader of a business to understand the stage of their business is all about the growth of business.
