What does maximum optimization look like in elite level sports outside of ice hockey? Today, we will have an in depth conversation about preparation for high performance sports with the current head strength and conditioning coach for the Arizona Cardinals, Buddy Morris. Buddy has worked with 13 first round NFL draft picks and 15 first team All Americans during his career, and recently won the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach of the Year award in 2021.

In this episode, we will cover his experience in the NFL and how he trains and prepares his skilled athletes. We dive into the physiology of velocity and speed, preparation and programming for advanced athletes, assessing and correcting asymmetries, and much more. Most of all, we’ll discuss the importance of learning, growing, and improving as coaches for the benefit of the game and the players.
