In this episode Gabriel Enamorado, Executive Director of Stay Arts, a creative organization dedicated to empowering communities in Southeast Los Angeles (and beyond) through the arts joins me to discuss the vital importance of bringing creative spaces and resources to local communities, especially in ethnically diverse areas like SELA. Through Stay Gallery, Gabriel and his team have stepped in to fill the void left by the closure of local cultural institutions, providing opportunities for underrepresented groups to share their work and engage with the arts. Their mission is clear: to encourage people to stay local, creative, and connected to their community through the transformative power of art.
