In this episode, we dive into the extraordinary journey of Jothy Rosenberg, a cancer survivor who went on to achieve massive success as an entrepreneur. After surviving a devastating cancer diagnosis as a teenager that led to the amputation of his leg and the removal of part of his lung, Jothy refused to let his circumstances define him. Meet Jothy Rosenberg

Jothy Rosenberg has a PhD in computer science from Duke University. He has been an incorrigible entrepreneur for 35 years during which time he has started and led nine tech startups two with exits over $100M. He is founder and executive chairman of Dover Microsystems a hardware-based cybersecurity company he founded in 2017. He is the author of six books including his memoir about dealing with cancer and disability as a teenager called Who Says I Can’t, a children’s book for ages 4-9 called Adventures on the Can Do Trail, and his most recent called Tech Startup Toolkit. He is a member of the Forbes Technology Council where he publishes regularly on Forbes.com. Jothy is a TEDx speaker and the founder of The Who Says I Can’t Foundation whose mission is to help disabled young people regain their self-esteem through success at high challenge sports. Jothy hosts the Designing Successful Startups podcast weekly with guests who operate in and around the startup founder ecosystem. Jothy is a frequent keynote speaker where he has spoken at ESPN, Netflix, Vertex Pharmaceuticals, Boston University, Mass General Hospital, The San Jose Sharks, and others.
