Episode 22 of the Harbir Singh Podcast. After the popularity of Episode 20 with Bhai Harman Singh from Basics of Sikhi, I wanted to interview many more gursikhs, who have experiential knowledge of Sikhism.
Bibi Manmohan Kaur (Southall) is the nan of my wife Dr Darshan Kaur. She is a true gem of a person who I don't value as much as I should, she has spent many years reading gurbani (writings in guru granth sahib) and immersing herself in simran (gurmantar meditation). Amongst her many achievements; recovering from a heart attack and stroke, working until 80, living by herself most of her adult life (her independence), doing seva (public service) in the panj pyaray (5 spiritual sikhs), sitting for 16 hours a day in simran and being a massive positive and ongoing influence on my wife's life.
