We leave Mac and Barrons behind (for now) and get things from 14-year-old sidhe-seer, Dani O'Malley's perspective in book 6 of the Fever series: Iced.

Enigmatic Ryodan forces Dani into a contract, working together to try to solve the mystery of what is icing locations around Dublin and why. The collateral? The life of fellow sidhe-seer Joe, who is now working in one of Chester's sub clubs as a waitress. Dani resents this. She hates having to answer to anyone, and even worse, knowing Joe's life is at stake if she messes up, which she inevitably will.

The iced scenes are multiplying, dropping temperatures throughout the city. What's worse is that the scenes later explode, decimating everything contained within. Ryodan and Dani have to solve the mystery before Dublin is plunged into a perpetual winter. There to help is Dani's friend Dancer. He's just a human , but with his super science smarts, he may be the unlikely key to unlocking the mystery.

In the mean time, Christian's transition into an Unseelie Prince has started to accelerate and the Scotsman is slowing losing his grip on his own humanity. To make matters worse, while the Keltar part of him may protest, the unseelie side now has its sights set on Dani...in a less than platonic way. "Gah! Gross."

Back at the Abbey, Kat is harboring a dark secret: Cruce's prison may not be as impenetrable as they thought. The dark prince has been visiting the new leader of the sidhe-seers in her dreams every night. Seducing her, sexing her, and making her question whether or not she has what it takes to be the leader in place of Rowena.

Mysteries abound and new villains are unleashed. There's never a dull moment in Dublin since the walls between faery came down!
