157 So many of us yearn to stay in a home, job, or relationship "forever," and there can be deep shame when we don't. And yet, we all know that in order to grow, change is necessary. To be human is to realize that permanence is a myth. So why do we still buy into the forever fallacy? And what do we do when the myth is busted? Nadine explores these ideas in her essay, "Forever Home."

If your heart has ever broken over something that didn't last forever, this episode is for you.

  • What Nadine wishes she could say to her 27 yr old self about the idea of "forever"
  • The ups and downs she's encountered in the last 13 yrs since then
