Luke Merril killer sermon on dealing with anxiety at CLC college… the link is in my notes…

https://www.youtube.com/live/mJ8t8cr5kNs?si=zS3G66ixcAg115uy

Sometimes paranoia is just having all the facts. William S. Burroughs

So can paranoia be debilitating… yep, so can fear, pleasure and even exercise…

Anything can be toxic if it runs your life, but thats not what we are talking about. A healthy paranoia is the defender of truth. It is the mental and spiritual prepper, it keeps us safe and even alive… remember when the whole world is running off a cliff - its the person who is running the opposite direction that seems to be crazy…

  1. Prepare your mental health: Engage in activities that promote responding and acting accordingly… as well as relaxation and well-being.

If you have ever taken any marksmanship classes you often learn about dry firing. You just have your gun unloaded in your holster and during the day at home with no one around you practice pulling your gun out and firing at objects in your house.

This is simple mental preparation.

I will sit at my table and I will shoot anything that is an animal on TV… aim ready shoot… prepared, I will also walk mentally through the stages of having to pull my gun and shoot people, or how to avoid an attacker… how to distance myself from a knife attack etc… prepare!

I can’t remember who said it but the quote is…

Paranoia: the gift of the survivor and the burden of the overtired, stressed and terrified.

You are overtired, stressed and terrified when you fail to prepare.

As I always say (and its on my 1441ff website) its never to late to prepare but if you are not prepared.. its always to late.

  1. Build powerful relationships: Surround yourself with supportive people who can teach you, inform you, coach you and even doctor you up… as well as comfort you and give new perspectives.

Paranoia means I have a list of go to friends who can cover my back in any type of emergency.

I have prayer teams ready,

I have go teams ready

I have anti terrorist teams ready

I have a lot of powerful relationships… and its due to a healthy paranoia.

  1. Trust your intuition: Listen to your instincts, but don't let fear dictate your decisions.

John Katzenbach said “Create delusion. Establish doubt. Feed paranoia.”

But the more you are prepared and truly paranoid in the best possible way… you are less likely to fall under delusion, you are less likely to doubt what you know to be true… and the only thing that your paranoia will feed is a hunger to continually stay prepared.

By adopting these approaches, you can maintain a healthy balance between awareness and peace of mind.
