Say Hi

Paul achieved two main things in the book of Philippians: appreciation and
instruction. Since my Pastor has given me this awesome privilege to bring the
Word today, it will not be out of order for me to say a word of appreciation
to God and to the church. I will not be too detailed this morning because of time,
but God really helped me in the last three years of doctoral study.
Paul’s closing appeal for steadfastness and unity brings much to reflect on.
In Philippians 4, we are more conversant with verses 4, 13, 19. (If you believe
in Philippians 4:19, you will not be involved in “419”).
Preceding these verses is an issue we want to focus on today as we consider the
topic: Advancing in the Spirit of Reconciliation. Text: Philippians 4:1-5.
The passage begins by focusing on two characters: Euodia and Syntyche. What
