Dr. Andreas Michaelides, PhD in Clinical Psychology, has over 20 years of expertise in behavior change and over a decade integrating psychology with technology. In this podcast, we discussed the dynamic intersection of AI and therapy, coaching, and healing. The need for human therapists will remain, but AI can fill gaps, helping many who lack access to traditional therapy or who don’t have a formal diagnosis but would benefit, for example, from learning resilience and coping strategies.
We also discussed shifting perspectives. Kids today are growing up with technology in ways we couldn't have imagined. As the next generation of AI tools are built, designing them in an ethically responsible way should be a top concern.
