Los sonidos de garage que marcaron la música estadounidense en la segunda mitad de los años 60 prácticamente habían sido olvidados al comienzo de la década siguiente. A comienzos de los años 80 surgiría un movimiento de banda que reivindicaban aquellas esencias del garage primigenio, las guitarras con fuzz o los teclados Farfisa, aunque filtrando su energía a través del punk que les había tocado vivir.

Nos centramos en la escena norteamericana de aquel resurgir de flequillos y botines que el mundo conoció como garage revival.
