Kull wahad! Calibrate your thumper for a great grandfather of a worm and join the Rabbit Fighters as they discuss Denis Villanueve's Epic translation to the big screen of Frank Herbert's sci-fi masterpiece, DUNE.

Which film will reign supreme: Part 1 (2021) or Part 2 (2024)? Or will David Lynch's 1984 version surprise us all? (Much like Shai-Hulud breaking through the Shield Wall carrying an army of Fedaykin on its back sure surprised those pesky Sardaukar!) Or will it continue to disappoint, being overshadowed by it's far sexier and ruthless cousin? (Much like how The Beast Rabban continued to disappoint his uncle, Baron Vladimir Harkonnen in his comparison to the Na-Baron, Feyd Rautha!)

Whether you've read the book or not, go see Dune: Parts 1 & 2 immediately, and then top your experience off by listening to this episode, where you'll hear the Fighters:

1. Debate on how to broker a nuclear disarmament treaty with only a cursory understanding of the political landscape that will exist in 20,000 years
2. Explore Frank Herbert's exhaustive process for assigning characters such exotic names, and
3. Mull over some sorely needed changes to the startling lack of labor laws recognized by House Harkonnen

All while parsing out what parts of the films were AS WRITTEN and which were merely the spice induced visions of an offworlder with his eyes on the throne (and whether it even matters so long as we get to experience some more sweet, sweet Geidi Prime shenanigans.)
Long Live The (Rabbit) Fighters!

Next Week - Random Pick: To Live And Die In L.A.
