Anyone who's walked through a downtown in the Quad Cities has probably seen a pop up of colorful window art in the last couple of years. The artist behind that work is Atlanta Dawn.
Her art took hold in the height of the COVID-19 pandemic when the City of Davenport hired her to make art around town, paintings aimed at bringing joy throughout the community in a tough time.
As more and more paintings arose, her work became more popular and the demand for this type of art his reached an all-time high in the QC.
