Navarre Minerals Ltd (ASX:NML) managing director and executive chair James Gurry talks with Proactive’s Tylah Tully about the company's recent recapitalisation, ASX trading resumption and its renewed focus on high-grade gold exploration in Victoria. Following a strategic shift back to its core gold exploration roots, Navarre now prioritises advanced exploration across five primary projects, including the Tandarra, Irvine and St Arnaud projects. Gurry highlighted Navarre’s resource potential, noting that the company has defined approximately 700,000 ounces in gold resources, with a core focus on its Irvine project. "What you can expect is for us to get to work," Gurry stated, emphasising the company’s clean capital structure, its $6 million cash reserve and a renewed drilling strategy. The company plans an extensive, continuous 7,000-metre drilling campaign aimed at demonstrating strong project fundamentals to shareholders and investors over the next 12 months. The recapitalisation has returned Navarre to the market at a low valuation, a move intended to position the company advantageously for growth.
