Welcome to episode 14. In this episode, you’ll know more about finding that guest you’ve wanted to seek out and have on your podcast, and do it in a way that will lock in the interviews you are needing.
Here are the 10 tips to do this and hone your skill on searching for the next guest on your podcast. If you apply some or all of these tips, you’ll be sure to lock in your next guest interview.
- Search in groups, locally online or from friends
- Research research research
- Send a request
- Be mindful of their time
- Have specific questions ready
- Make sure your technology works
- Talk before the iv about what you’ll be sharing on the episode
- Use friends, clients past and present or potential clients
- Share their contact details in your show notes not always on the episode itself
- Think about asking to be on their podcast
