Matty Vella is one of my favourite skaters in the UK and I am massive fan of his style and trick selection. I invited him up to film for the first Wheel Scene video about four years ago and we've been good friends ever since. Anyone who has spent time with Matty knows that he has a great sense of humour, doesn't take himself too seriously and knows how to have a good time.
Matty talks to us about the various projects he's been involved with this year, including helping Alex Burston build SK Skatepark, doing lessons at various skateparks and working on an upcoming Manchestuhhh project. He also talks about getting on USD Skates and BHC Wheels, what it was like hanging out with Bobi Spassov for the first time, his current injury that he's struggling with and more.
