EN - Fighting for the Sea │ Paul Watson & Katherine Mac Donald
Manage episode 395804621 series 3550166
This month's special edition focuses on the relationship between philanthropy and animals. For this occasion, we produced a second podcast on the theme, showcasing a different area of focus: Protecting our Oceans and Marine Wildlife.
PhiLab was able to connect with someone who made it his life mission to protect the ocean and the animals who live in it: The Founder of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, Captain Paul Watson.
The ocean is the most important part of our planet in terms of mass and volume but is often left behind when instead, policymakers ought to act and protect it. As our guest is known to say "If the Ocean Dies, We All Die."
For today's episode, Katherine Mac Donald, PhiLab's Head of Communications, will conduct the interview. Katherine has been involved in the animal protection community for over a decade. A former SPCA employee and activist for animal rights, she has written multiple articles on the subject for PhiLab's Special Edition on Philanthropy for the Animals.
With that said, I hope you enjoy this conversation
A special thank you to Annik Boivin for building bridges between the Kanien’kehá:ka Nation, PhiLab, and Captain Paul Watson.
