Palen Music Educational Representative Kent Lineberry stops by to talk about his job with Palen Music in the Kansas City area (02:30), growing up in Jefferson City (MO), getting into band and percussion, the beginnings of his DCI experience, and playing in a garage band (15:45), his experiences at the University of Central Missouri and Truman State University (MO) for his college work, teaching drum corps with the Colts, and studying under Michael Bump (26:45), teaching at Rockwood Summit and Blue Springs in Missouri and mentoring teachers these days (47:10), and finishes with the Random Ass Questions, including segments on Star Wars, Zora Neale Hurston, Battlestar Galactica, and Eric Whitacre (01:15:10).
